Desert Hearts Festival is just days away and we couldn’t be more excited than ever. The completely sold out 80-hour event of non-stop music takes place this weekend with a powerhouse lineup. We see the Desert Hearts crew as family, as they treat us part of as their own family. At Desert Hearts Festival is nothing but love, acceptance, and dancing. This being the most ultimate lineup in Desert Hearts history the team at Electric Vibes made a list of the top 5 artists to see at the festival this weekend.

Joyce Muniz

Friend and colleague to the Desert Hearts crew, the Brazilian DJ and producer released her Me & Da Beat EP on the label. In an recent interview with Joyce, she said “I did the remix for Desert Hearts a few years ago, I know SABO for ages the guys asked about the remix for a while, I have different styles and sounds, I waited for the right moment, I moved to Berlin 2 years ago, I rented a studio and Mikey Lion fell in love with the track, I love the vibes, its a mix between.” Her style of sound is a rich tribal house vibe with groovy techno beats and basslines. She is beyond excited to perform this year, “it has a really cool vibe in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal. I am looking forward to playing a bit more of a groovy trippy set there.” Joyce will be performing on Saturday at 4 PM.

Jacky

UK house artist, and label boss of Jacky & Friends, this DJ, and producer is going places and pushing boundaries within the house and techno scene. His newest track with Holmes John titled ‘MUMMA’ has gotten recognition from house heavyweights such as FISHER and Roger Sanchez. Jacky will be performing on Sunday at Noon - 12 PM.

POPOF

As one of the most downloaded artists in his category, POPOF is in very high demand for his remixes and has worked for famous artists such as Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Moby, BookaShade, Vitalic, Tiga, Maetrik, Martin Solveig and much more. He recently released his ‘Kronic’ EP, and yet another masterclass in immersive, energetic soundscapes from an expert producer at the very top of his game. POPOF will be performing on Sunday at midnight - 12 AM.

Tara Brooks

One of the leading ladies in the techno and house community, Tara Brooks has been a longtime friend to the Desert Hearts crew which lead to release her Sophrosyne EP and tracks on the iconic label. As well as multiple Desert Heart mixes which are available on SoundCloud, episode #008, episode #053 and, episode #039. Tara Brooks will be performing on Friday at 4 AM.

Atish

A creative artist that delivers so much talent sometimes it can be overwhelming. His dynamic style of music is ecstatic with moving dimensions in music. Based in New York, Atish has cultivated a devoted following around the world. He’s a natural performer who engages crowds with charm and stunning techno and house sounds. An obsessive music collector, he pulls from a broad sonic palette, and with these sounds, he creates intimate atmospheres and emotional experiences that linger in your mind long after the music has stopped. Atish will be performing on Sunday at 9 AM.

Catch other performances from Desert Hearts extended family members like RYBO, Lubelski, and Doc Martin. There will also be a special back-to-back performance from techno titans De la Swing and Toni Varga.
