Shambhala Music Festival will make its return to the beautiful Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Canada on August 10-13, 2018 for its 21st edition. After celebrating two decades of historical memories of music, relationships, and love. The festival will be held on a splendid family-run farm, attendees will have the chance to experience four days of non-stop music and witness hundreds of artists throughout the six unique stages. 

Shambhala Music Festival announced its first wave of headliners for this year’s lineup and it’s lit - Canadian DJ and record producer REZZ and pioneer bass music trio The Glitch Mob. This is just a slice of what to expect when the full lineup is released. Bringing together performers from around the world in different realms of dance music such as dubstep, drum n’ bass, house, hip-hop, trap, future bass, and so much more.

The festival began in 1998, founded by Jimmy Bundschuh and his family farm in an evergreen forest near breathtaking mountains, since then it has grown over time drawing more crowds and inviting elite artists in dance music industry. Shambhala continues to evolve over the past 20 years with a focus on infrastructure that ensures a healthy and sustainable environment.  

Each year the Shambhala team carefully creates every detail to the bone, working extremely hard to prepare for its biggest year yet to come. Another special treat is the release of a stunning festival trailer to give viewers a taste of the unique Shambhala experience. The festival has also launched a contest called “The Ultimate Shambhala Music Festival Experience Contest.” ENTER NOW and two lucky winners will be chosen to win a trip to the festival with full accommodations including passes, merchandise, food vouchers, a stay at the Savoy Hotel in Nelson and more.
