Now that the summer festival season is coming to an end, the leaves start to change and fall and the cool fall and winter air is upon us. So what does that mean in terms of festivals? Do not fear because we have compiled a list of dope festivals around the world that you can attend if you are having festival withdrawals.
Movement Torino — Turin, Italy — Oct 2017
The leading European techno festival is back, but also with something different in stores: this year it will offer two huge main shows on October 28th and 31st, as well as a series of smaller pre-parties and plenty of events in between, all in Turin, Italy. As ever, only the biggest names will play pioneers Sven Vath, Octave One, Sonja Moonear, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Nastia and much more.
As well as DJs like Patrick Topping, Ukraine’s techno heroine Nastia, Italian Luigi Madonna, Marco Faraone, Terminal M boss Monika Kruse, UK Saved boss Nic Fanciulli, Mood Records techno queen Nicole Moudaber and the legendary RPR Soundsystem from Romania and you have a fine mix of men and women from across the worlds of house, techno and minimal all lining up, with more to come.

Love Festival — Aruba, The Caribbean — Nov 2017

Now it’s official! Epizode 2 will be welcoming the real heavyweights of the electronic scene. The leading roles in this winter blockbuster will be taken by phenomenal artists: the British DJ and producer Carl Cox, Marcel Dettmann, known as the artist of Desolat Label, Guti and DJ and producer Nicole Moudaber. What role will you play in this blockbuster?
The permanent masterminds of Kazantip/Befooz and Sagrado Corp. are busy working on the new sequel of EPIZODE. The “Equatorial Musical Adventure” continues, and this time, the project involves the biggest names of the dance music scene. The second Epizode will take place in the same gorgeous island of Phu Quoc in the Gulf of Thailand. Once again in December 2017, it will become the Territory of Happiness in all and every aspect, featuring Kazantip sunsets, surreal installations captured in thousand shots and, arguably, the world’s best music.
Showcasing more than 40 world class artists at multiple magical locations, starting in the month of February 2018 from 3rd to the 16th, it promises to be an unforgettable adventure in a picturesque paradise that any music lover would dream to be a part of. This intimate festival will be the Jewel in the Gulf Of Thailand against a backdrop of white sandy beaches, palm trees, mountains and the beautiful waterfalls of Thailand’s Koh Phangan, all powered by a Funktion One sound system.
The first names have been revealed include the best house, techno and tech house DJs such as Britta Arnold, Britta Under, David Keno, De La Swing, Einmusik, Luna City Express, Mat.Joe, Supernova, Tapesh, Peter G and much more.
SXM Festival — St Martin, The Caribbean — Mar 2018
A few weeks ago Hurricane Irma hit the gorgeous island of St Martin, destroying everything in its path, we were unsure if there will ever be another SXM Festival. Through the help of fundraisers and donations, the people of SXM Festival will rebuild and return to the Caribbean island St Martin for its third installment.
SXM Festival is one of the world’s leading electronic music escapes, reveals the dates for its 2018 edition. Returning on March 14-18, 2018, SXM Festival will continue to grow its reputation of forward-thinking underground bookings fused with a magical design aesthetic and the paradise setting of Saint Martin. Attendees have been treated to seminal moments like an oceanfront sunrise session with Lee Burridge, a Jamie Jones marathon nestled into the island’s rich jungle, VIP villa sessions overlooking the Caribbean with Behrouz and Blond:ish, beachside triumphs from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Black Coffee, and Ricardo Villalobos on The Ark, SXM’s iconic mainstage – and much more unforgettable occasions.
