Sloth-aficionado and Dirtybird favorite, Sacha Robotti announced today that he will embark on a jam-packed tour across North America called SlothAcid Tour. Armed with that contagious smile, a handful of party-goer friends, and a grip of House & Techno bumpers, Sacha is set to turn out some of North America’s most iconic dance rooms.

Sacha Robotti’s SlothAcid Tour will kickoff and will bring along some special guests for a string of shows in support of Chris Lake before touching down at huge festival dates like California’s Dirtybird Campout and Nocturnal Wonderland, and Houston’s Praia Urbana. With some help from Fancy Fux, Kevin Knapp, Pezzner, RYBO and J Worra, Sacha will pull up to Chicago’s SPYBAR, Detroit’s Grasshopper Underground, Austin’s Ethics, Seattle’s Q Nightclub, Boston’s Bijou, Sacramento’s District 30 plus a slew of other high-profile dates to soon be announced.

“Since I've used a sloth logo for my parties in LA this past year, the sloth has become a spirit animal that has been increasingly associated with my artist persona.  Sloths are an endangered species and are friendly, chill creatures who like to sleep a lot and seem to live happily in the moment—qualities I can relate to, especially today in our performance-driven society. The legend goes that magic sloth candy blew minds during my set at Desert Hearts Festival 2017, after which I started using the term ‘SlothAcid’ to describe the style of electronic music that I like to play out at festivals and clubs: a mix of groovy, emotional, weird, psychedelic music with tough beats that hopefully will take you on a journey through space-time.” - Sacha Robotti

After a slew of collaborations and contributions to the label, Sacha made his solo debut on Dirtybird this summer with his mind-blowing Melato Nina’ EP. The two-track EP plays are filled with emotion and uplifting vibes. As the title track continues to build around the haunting bass melody and hinted vocals of Tauon, while the melodic “Low Key Goddess” compares the extremes of light and dark sounds into two brilliant pieces of music. The range of this release displays Sacha dance between his signature energetic surprises and innovative darkness, offering the balancing act which fans have come to expect and love in both his studio output and the DJ booth.

The sound of Sacha Robotti has evolved throughout his 11-year career, traveling between San Fransisco, and sample-heavy house tracks as Berlin-based duo Robosonic, and hard hitting techno anthems he’s released as of late. Sacha Robotii is a sonic treat for humans and sloths alike as he continues to move fans on the dance-floors worldwide with his creativity, funky beats.
