One of Holland’s talented deep house artists of today, Eelke Kleijn has released his newest single entitled "The Calling". The new track is out now on his very own imprint DAYS like NIGHTS as well as announcing his North American tour for the 2018 summer season. Coming off of his latest release off the upcoming album ‘Moments of Clarity’, the tour includes seven shows with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico City, San Francisco, Houston and at the infamous Burning Man, making this his biggest US tour to date.
The Dutch producer has established himself as a diverse and multi-talented artist by producing club tracks, live shows, Hollywood soundtracks and everything in between. With his impressive musical skills, Eelke Kleijn has already earned the support of heavyweight House and Techno DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Maceo Plex, Pete Tong, Solomun and among others. His latest track The Calling clearly demonstrates all of his expertise by blending the melodic and ambient style of sound with stunning vocals so perfectly. A real hard-hitter full of emotion and uplifting summer track fitting for dancefloors all over the world.
“The starting point for ‘The Calling’ were the chords and the gliding bassline. I knew right from the start they would form the basic structure of the track. I wanted the track to have an organic, almost ceremonial sort of feel to it, so lots of time was spent getting the percussion and drums right. The vocals and breakdown really pulled it all together. It’s full of emotion, but in a way that I try to instill in all of my music.” - Eelke Kleijn
The North American tour begins at Houston, Texas on July 13th at The Dive, then to Audio in San Francisco on July 14th. Followed by a performance at the intimate Miami nightclub Do Not Sit On The Furniture on July 27th. Continuing on July 28th at the Avalon nightclub in LA, California where he will be performing a special 3-hour extended set before returning to New York City on August 24th for his debut US DAYS like NIGHTS boat party. On August 25th Eelke Kleijn will head south to Mexico City at Loo Loo. The Rotterdam-based producer will finish his biggest US tour to date with a huge bang for his debut performance at Burning Man.
No boundaries, no limits, the modern-day composer shows true to talent to the art of creating music. His weekly radio show DAYS like NIGHTS is rapidly building momentum and is aired on SiriusXM among 50 other stations globally.
